The biggest problem encountered when rabbeting is achieving a cut with a deep enough groove. Usually it takes more then one cut to get the depth you want causing you to risk precision and waste time. With CMT rabbeting bits, the problem is resolved. This is an 1/8th inch up spiral carbide bit. Freud's Solid Carbide Up Spiral Bits combine effective chip removal with a cut that can't be matched by standard straight bits.THe computer designed flutes provide the chip removal required in production settings. Up Spiral Router Bits are exspecally suited for cutting mortices or routing deep blind holes.
